Even today, almost half of the world's population lives in poverty, and in sub-Saharan Africa the figure is as high as 80 percent.

With our projects, we provide the necessary resources to help the local population to ensure access to food, clean water, medical care and safe accommodation.



SilvaTerra is committed to this goal. By planting fields for self-sufficiency, building wells and stable, sustainable houses and providing medical care, our projects help to give the local population the security and prosperity that everyone deserves.

Zero Hunger

Sufficient and nutritious food is a basic right

Even today, extreme hunger and malnutrition remain a major obstacle to development in many countries.

SilvaTerra aims to tackle this problem in a targeted manner as part of its projects. In this way, we make it possible for parts of our land to be used for agriculture and self-sufficiency for the local population to ensure that people can feed themselves all year round.



We also provide the necessary know-how and everything needed to cultivate the fields. We also ensure that our employees are provided with everything they need at all times and that sufficient food is a problem of the past, not the present - and not tomorrow.

Gender Equality

Everyone has a right to equal opportunities

Poorer access to education, discrimination, exploitation and violence are problems that are still part of everyday life for many women worldwide and make them dependent on men.

We want to strengthen the rights and independence of girls and women. For this reason, we are committed to ensuring that they receive the education and training they deserve and are able to provide for themselves.



Therefore, part of our land is also reserved for farming by women to ensure that they can provide for themselves - without being dependent on anyone.

Affordable & Clean Energy

Protecting the climate and securing the power supply

As the population continues to grow, so does the demand for energy. Fossil fuels cannot be the answer to protecting our climate. Instead, we need to invest in solar, wind and thermal energy.

SilvaTerra is aware of this problem and is therefore focusing primarily on solar energy as part of its projects in Tanzania. For example, all houses are equipped with solar cells in order to provide people with sufficient electricity and to protect the environment in a sustainable way.

The SDGs promote sustainable economic growth - which is exactly what SilvaTerra does. In order to achieve this goal, equal attention must be paid to ensuring that the work is carried out under humane conditions.

We also invest in the construction of connecting roads that make our land easily accessible and can also be used by the local population. In addition, we equip our employees on site with everything they need to work flexibly and in line with the times. From technology and vehicles to modern work equipment, SilvaTerra ensures that this goal is met in full.

Sustainable Cities & Communities

Innovative construction projects ensure the earth's habitability

Sustainable development is the key to the future habitability of our planet and to saving the climate.

We also apply this principle to the construction of modern cities. With our “green sustainable city”, we have launched a project that will make it possible to revolutionize life in communities with the help of sustainable raw materials and energy.

SilvaTerra is focusing on the entire value chain and the supply of a CO2-negative building material for the construction of all homes and buildings. Together with partners from the industry and the Tanzanian government, the planning and implementation of sustainable infrastructure is carried out. The core element of this city and social driver for greater sustainability awareness will be a sustainability-oriented training center and a university.
